Newsletter 2023
Friends of Saint Ann’s
Kingston, New York
Dear Friends,
We extend our warmest greetings to everyone who has come to St. Ann’s Church to join together in worship as well as to all of you inside and outside the Town of Kingston who have supported our efforts to preserve the legacy of St. Ann’s Church and Cemetery.
We would like to share a few of our accomplishments during 2023:
- Filled low spots, seeded and removed bushes in the cemetery
- Shaped the berm on the side of the church
- Continued to clean and restore old gravestones
- Installed light for the flagpole
- Installed a new dehumidifier
We thank all of the volunteers and donors who generously gave their support in 2023.
Our goals for 2024 are as follows:
- Repair and paint broken siding
- Scrape and paint cellar doors and railing
- Glaze and caulk windows
- Trim the bottom of the cellar door so it doesn't stick
- Continue to clean and restore old gravestones
It is with great sadness we say good-bye to Anne Marie Lauterbach a faithful member of St. Ann's. May she rest in peace.
Our final mass for 2023 will be our Holiday Mass on Saturday, December 30th at 12:00 noon - a good way to start the New Year!
The Friends of St. Ann’s would be grateful if you would keep us in mind for your tax-deductible charitable gift giving. It is through your generous support that the church is maintained throughout the year. Please make your checks payable to: “The Friends of St. Ann’s Church” and send your donations to: St. Ann's Church, c/o Kathy Renaud, 45 Melissa Road, Kingston, NY 12401
