Newsletter 2024

Friends of Saint Ann’s Kingston, New York

Dear Friends,

We extend our warmest greetings to everyone who has come to St. Ann’s Church to join together in worship as well as to all of you inside and outside the Town of Kingston who have supported our efforts to preserve the legacy of St. Ann’s Church and Cemetery.

We would like to share a few of our accomplishments during 2024:
  1. Caulked and painted outside and inside windows
  2. Scraped, rust proofed and painted church ceiling
  3. Painted inside church walls
  4. Installed new emergency signs with St. Ann's address
  5. As part of an Eagle Scout Project, outside railing and cellar door were scraped and painted
  6. As part of an Eagle Scout Project, the interior cellar door was trimmed and painted
  7. As part of an Eagle Scout Project, a water line and electric was installed at the bottom of the cemetery
  8. Broken siding was replaced on the outside of the church
  9. Cleaned 22 gravestones

We thank all of the volunteers and donors who generously gave their support in 2024.

Our goals for 2025 are as follows:
  1. Paint the outside of the church
  2. Repair two broken window panes
  3. Fill in low spots and trim bushes
  4. Continue to clean and restore old gravestones

Our final mass for 2024 will be our Holiday Mass on Saturday, December 28th at 12:00 noon - a good way to start the New Year!
